we recently stayed in the Carlton in Tralee,this was our first time and we will definitely will be back. From the receptionist to the Manger Anthony we were made feel very welcome.Our room was lovely with internet access!The food was delicious with one exception, our seven year old would reccomend less cheese on the pizza! thanks for a great stay, the Mahon family Kildare

Brill base to view Kerry! Stayed with husband and 2 kids free aqua dome, would definitely book this again.

We had a wonderful two nights at the Carlton. The staff were warm, welcoming and very helpful and friendly . Ten out of ten. A few small things to note (though not major) were larger towels in bathroom ...
and shower caps would be a nice touch which is common in most hotels now. Also if the staff can observe when the plates are running low at breakfast time as we had to request plates. Hot plates are also a nice feature in a hotel of this calibre so maybe look at that. These are small things but are noted. Otherwise a great experience and we will be definately be back. Supervalu were also a notable disappointment as they had failed to put our reservation through but thankfully the Carlton staff dealt with this very quickly. ---

imposing. The food in the restaurant was divine, make sure to try the desserts. The room was very comfortable and quiet and the special rate on the room was fantastic. I would definitely recommend the Carlton to a friend ---

We stayed in the Carlton for the may weekend, it was fantastic, the staff are so friendly,the food is massive and our daughter just loved the kids club. Looking forward to our next visit. I would highly recommend the Carlton.

Stayed with my wife and two children for Paddy's weekend 2011. A very enjoyable weekend with pleasant and extremely helpful staff.They particularly enjoyed the food and the close proximity of the aqua dome

Excellent staff, fine location but a few simple things need amends.
1> Sweep away all the cigarette butts on entrance stairwell
2> Stop charging an extra for Fish @ Breakfast
3> Take away used delph from ...
lobby quicker
Hotel has conformtable well serviced rooms and very good cuisine. Bar lacks warm and would not encourage one to stay.
Overall impression is a little tweaking and hotel would be a top tier hotel ---

I am delighted that you found your stay to be pleasant and enjoyable.
In relation to the points you raised.
These are things we are constantly working on and trying to improve.
We are placing extra bins for our smokers to use so this should reduce the number
of cigarette butts thrown on the floor .
With regards to the lobby area we have redeployed personnel to maintain
the level of cleanliness to the Carlton Standard in this area.
The supplement for fish at breakfast is due to the premium prices currently
been charged by fish suppliers and we have no choice but to pass on the cost
The ambiance in the bar has been reviewed and we have changed the background
music and lighting levels in this area to make it more attractive to our guests

on your next visit to the hotel

Stayed here with my husband and 2 kids for 2 nights, had a great stay, hotel was fab, and staff were very helpful, and the bar and restaurant was lovely! Would definitely recommend to stay here...thanks

Excellent Service Every Time |
This is the fourth time I have stayed at the Carlton Hotel in Tralee. Everytime I stay the standard of service, the rooms, and the food are excellent along with the staff who are extremely helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel.
